BALLOT FOR LAND NEAR RAKAIA

Mr A. I. Rush, of Willowbridge, Waimate, was the successful applicant in a ballot held at t]ie office of the Lands and Survey Departpiepi in Christchurch recently. There were 85 applicants, which is a retort] number for a farm ballot. The 230-acre section comprises portions of the properties acquired froyn Mrs G. B. Law and Mr G. S. Campbell, and is situated on School road, tour miles and a half nort®-west of Rakaia.
