(Rec. 11 p.m.) HONG KONG. Nov. 7. The Peiping radio admitted today that there were 3000 Chinese fighting with the North Koreans. The broadcast said they were “workers and peasants” who volunteered to fight against the Americans in order to defend their own country. The radio claimed that another 10,000 “volunteers” were concentrated on the north bank of the Yalu river, ready to cross into North Korea.
