LOCAL POLLS IN SWEDEN
Communists Lose 63 Seats
(Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 18. The Stockholm correspondent of Reuter’s says that the Communists had lost 63 of their 92 seats when the preliminary final results of Swedish nation-wide local elections were released to-day. The Socialists gained a record vote. The state of parties was: 1950. 1946.
