MR HOLLAND SELLS HOME
' (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 7. The Prime Minister (Mr Holland) has reluctantly sold his Christchurch home.
He told the United Kingdom Manufacturers’ and the New Zealand Representatives’ Association at its meeting yesterday that this was one of the sad consequences of his new job. He had tried to hold on to the home, but the grass was getting out of control, and the place needed attention so he sold it. “When I go to Christchurch now, I’ll have to stay at a hotel,’’ he said.
