ARMY OF RHINE MANOEUVRES

U.S., FRENCH, DANISH FORCES INCLUDED

(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 7. American, Danish, and French troops will join the British Army of the Rhine and the British air forces in joint manoeuvres in Germany from September 24 to September 30, the War Office announced last night.

The manoeuvres will be directed by Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Keightley and Air Marshal Sir Thomas Williams, the British commanders-in-chief in Germany.

Royal naval air squadrons and a Royal Marines detachment will take part in the exercises. •
