JOSEDALE AUDUBON SOLD Josedale Audubon, a winner last season for Messrs 1. G. Watkins and S. G. Leggett, has been sold and Le is now being trained at Templeton by T. Tnompson. Josedale Audubon, which looked in splendid order when he was paraded at the trials at Addington earlier in the month, will probably have his next race at the New Brighton meeting. Finished On Well

Good Review began slowly and he was tailing the field in the early stages of the Wildwood Handicap at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's meeting at Addington on Saturday. Once he settled down to his best work, Good Review showed much speed to be seventh at the finish. On this display, Good Review should soon win a race for R H Butterick. Has Been Placed

Imperial Lord, which finished third in two of his last three races last season, may leave the maiden class with a win m the First Fairview Handicap at the Timaru Trotting Club’s meeting at Washdyke on Saturday.

A four-year-old horse. Imperial Lord, which is owned by A. Holmes, who trains h!m at Yaldhurst. is by Gamble from Imperial Gold, which is also the dam of Go ] ~ Bar ’ imperial Lady, Golden Imp, and Crown Plate.

Broke Up After breaking at the start, Bashaw showed much speed to be handy to the leaders at the end of a mile, but he lost all chance when he broke with half a mile to go in the Winter Handicap at Addington on Saturday. A grand stayer, Bashaw is better suited by two-mile races. At Tinwald

Ingle Star is a recent addition to D. J. Townley’s team at Tinwald. A trotter, Ingle Star showed his best form when trained for his races m the early part of last season by J. J. Flynn at Waikouro when he beat Bonus by four lengths after giving away starts of up to 72 yards in the Croydon Handicap at Gore on December 26, and when he beat the same horse after starting from the 84 yards mark in the South Hillend Handicap at Winton on December 31. Ingle Star was then sent to Addington to be trained by V. Alborn, and he was later returned to his owner for whom he won the Ferndale Handicap at Gore I n fi le Star started from the 120 yards mark in the Ferndale Handicap. and he gave a solid exhibition of trotting to get up and beat Windydale by a neck.

On that form, Ingle Star should prove capable of winning races in Canterbury. Bred at Heriot by Mr C. Smaill, Ingle Sta. is an aged gelding by Quite Sure from Ingle Chenault, by Peter Chenault from Ingle Bingen, by Nelson Bingen from Neeratte, which was imported.

Racing at Washdyke Sabre Dance, which raced well at the Canterbury Owners’ and Breeders’ trials at Addington on August 10. and woiked well at Addington since then, disappointed her admirers when she failed’to take any serious part in the race after breaking at the start of the Addington Trotting Stakes a* Addington on Saturday. She may atone for her display with a win in the First Rosewill Handicap at the Timaru Trotting Club s meeting on Saturday. Out of Sunburst

Lady Joss, from M. W. Dickie's Spnngston stable, attracted attention to her prospects when she finished fast in second place to Te Maru in the Metropolitan Stakes at Addington on Saturday. Rowail McCoy, the easy winner of the Waikaura Handicap at the Oamaru Trotting Club’s meeting on May 6, must be conceded a good chance from the 12 yards mark in the Glen-iti Handicap at Washdyke on Saturday.
