N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS AT TIMARU From Our Own Reporter TIMARU, August 28. The New Zealand squash rackets championship was continued at Timaru to-day. A. M. Johns and J. A. Gilll« 8 , hrst and second seeded players, will play the final of the championship. Competitors are from Timaru unless otherwise stated. Results were:— New Zealand Championship Semi-finals.—A. M. Johns (Palmerston North) beat \7. E. Renton, 9-6, 10-8, 9-6; J. A. Gillies (Invercargill) beat M. JSouter, 9-5, 9-1, 8-10, 9-2. - -New Zealand Handicap First. Round.—C. Knox beat C. R. Hervey, 9-6, 9-3, 9-5; G. Perigo North) beat D. E. B. Talbot, 9-4, 6-9, 9-6, 9- Second Round.—G. W. Harte beat I. Oldfield, 10-8, 4-9, 9-3, 9-4; B Morrison beat L. B. Wood, 9-4, 8-7, 9-6; W. C.
