TRAP SHOOTING
: BELFAST CLUB’S MONTHLY MATCHES ) Five matches we*e decided at the ) monthly shoot of the Belfast Rod and 1 Gun Club. More than 40 competitors contested the main matches. In the first match of five targets off handicap marks, D. Dorreen. M. D. Baii ley. N. Inwood, A. W. Fraser, B. H. Sluis, 1 and F. Gibson broke the possible, and divided the sweepstake. T. D. Smith. R. Mcllrick, B. H. Sluis. and D. Hammond i all broke the possible of 10 targets off . handicap marks in th*e second match.
Two possibles were shot by M. D. Bailey and F. Gibson in the third match, of 10 targets, off handicap marks. The fourth match was for five targets off 16 yards. I. Boyce, D. W. Davison,- N. Inwood, R. Mcllrick. D. Hammond, and A. G. Lancaster all broke the possible and divided the money. A quail drive of five targets constituted the fifth match. Sluis and E. Simpson broke all their targets and divided the sweepstake. Messrs R. Chapman and C. Booker were the referees.
