SCHOOLBOYS’ MATCHES CANTERBURY BEATEN BY WEST COAST From Our Own Reporter GREYMOUTH, August 23. By a narrow defeat of Canterbury by 5 points to 4, yesterday. West Coast won the Stuart Cup from the visitors. The trophy is played for between the two provinces each year at the annual schoolboys’ Rugby League tournament, which is now being held at Greymouth. Conditions were heavy for the third day to-day, and matches resulted:— Auckland beat West Coast by 19 points to 3, and South Auckland beat Canterbury by 15 points to 0.
