CONCERN FELT FOR SAFETY (New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL, August 22. Concern for the safety of the two youths who escaped from the Invercargill Borstal Institution and sought refuge on an islet off the coast of Stewart Island is being shown by the police. Masons Island, where the youths have been marooned since Sunday, has been lashed bv a storm, and there is little shelter and practically n< source of food on it. The youths may be suffering seriously from exposure. The launch Helga, carrying police and warders, will put to s*a from Bluti to-morrow if conditions uermit.
