North Canterbury Federation.—Remits and preliminary arrangements for the half-yearly meeting to be held at Ohoka in October were discussed at a meeting of the executive committee of the Nortn Canterbury Federation of Women’s Institutes The president (Mrs Topp), who presided, gave an interesting report on the Dominion conference. Congratulations were extended to members of the drama circle of the Sheffield Institute on their success in the drama festival. An invitation to the Mairehau birthday party was accepted.
