HABEAS CORPUS WJUT FAILS (Rec. 8 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, August 7. A Federal District Judge 'Mr A. Lemmon) to-day denied a petition by Harry Bridges, president of the Longshoremen’s Union, for a writ of habeas corpus. The Judge denied the petition without comment. Bridges argued that he was being held in violation of his constitutional liberties.
