MATCH WITH TARANAKI TO-DAY

No changes are expected in either of the teams previously announced for the British Isles team’s match against Taranaki at New Plymouth to-morrow. P. Burke, a good Taranaki line-out forward. received a gash over an eye in the team’s first practice on Wednesday, but after receiving three stitches he took part in the subsequent practices. If the weather holds, a record crowd of about 20,000 is expected to see the match. Misty rain fell to-day, but this did not affect the British Isles team’s determination to play open football if allowed to do so. “We shall never stop doing that,” said the manager (Surgeon-Captain L. B. Osborne) to-day. “We shall always play open football, regardless of the result. SCHOOL GAMES TEAMS FOR TO-DAY’S MATCHES Two inter-secondary school Rugby matches will be played to-day.
