WOMAN’S BODY FOUND

(New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER. July 7.

The body of Mrs Jane Elliott, a widow, aged 76, who had been missing since June 14. was discovered on a farm in the Morere district this morning by a party of police which had been conducting an intensive search of the area. The body was found two miles from the homestead of the Tarewa station, where Mrs Elliott had been living. The police believe death was caused by exposure.
