Strong fields arc engaged, and there should be some excellent contests. The doubles totalisator will be operated on the Great Northern Hurdles and the Cornwall Handicap. The course will be heavy after a downpour early this morning and more rain this afternoon. The forecast is for changeable weather, with occasional showers.
