PURCHASE OF PROPERTY IN KARORI (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 2. A five-roomed house in Karori, with 21 perches of ground is to be bought by the Government lor use as a Min-

isterial residence. The acquisition of the property under the Public Works Act was notified in last night’s Gazette. The house will be occupied by the Minister of Police (Mr W. H. Fortune).

The housing problem of most of the Ministers have been overcome. The Prime Minister (Mr Holland) and his family are still living at Paremata', and will move into the house acquired some months ago in Pipitea street when renovations and alterations are completed. ,
