Chimney Fire.—A chimney fire at the home of Mr H. Hanrie, 62 Holly road, was put out by the Christchurch Fire Brigade last evening. The brigade received a call at 5.37 p.m.
Immigration Committee.— The Associated Chambers of Commerce will continue to press for representation on the Immigration Advisory Committee which is assisting the Government on immigration plans. This information has been received by the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.
