SOUTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS The .South Island golf championships will definitely start at the Kaiata golf links at Greymouth on Saturday, said the secretary of the Buller-Westland Golf Association (Mr L. C. Lindley) last evening. “The course has suffered no serious damage from the recent flooding,” he said. ASHBURTON LADIES’ CLUB The Ashburton Ladies’ Golf Club drew with the Hagley Ladies’ Club when a fourball round was played at Ashburton yesterday morning.
