TABLE TENNIS

ENGLISH PLAYERS MAY VISIT N.Z.

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 31. The world-famous table tennis players, Richard Bergmann and Johnny Leach, both of England, may tour New Zealand late in August and in September, the secretary of the New Zealand Table Tennis Association (Mr K. C. Wilkinson) announced to-day.

A cablegram was received from Bergmann this week accepting association’s terms. All affiliated associations have been advised of the willingness of Bergmann and Leach to tour the Dominion and, if they support the parent body, plans will be completed.
