3100 Guineas for Merino Ram.— The sum of 3100 guineas—best price for 26 years—was paid for a pure Merino stud ram at to-day’s sheep sales in Sydney. The ram was bought bv Mr T. H. Williams, of Dubbo. New South V/ales. The ram. which is two years and a half old. comes from stock which won two grand championships at the Sydney Show, and is a distant relative to Bonnie Charlie, which brought 3600 ! guineas by private sale in 1920.
