COMPANIES ACT REVISION

ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 29. The Minister of Stamp Duties (Mr C. M. Bowaen) has announced the following committee to advise the law draftsman on the complete revision of the Companies Act, 1933: — Messrs F. C. Spratt and H. E. Anderson. representing the New Zealand Law Society; Andrew Hamilton, representing the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand; D. A. F. Crombie, representing the New Zealand Society of Accountants; W. G. Rodger, representing the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries and the New Zealand branch of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries: J. T. Martin, of Wellington, representing the Associated Chambers of Commerce; and E. C. Adams, Registrar-General of Land, as departmental representative. Mr Bowden said the committee would be prepared to receive submissions from societies or individuals.
