Talk on Stock Exchange.— The working qf the New Zealand Stock Exchange was explained to the Christchurch Accountant Students’ Society by Mr J. H. Griffiths last evening. After referring to the establishment of the London. New York, Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges Mr Griffiths showed the students callsheets and copies of the various contract notes and other forms used. Property Left on Trams.— When the half-yearly auction sale of property left on trams and buses in Christchurch was held recently £65 5s was realised.
