Glamorganshire won the toss and batted in chilly weather. The batting was mainly defensive and brilliant ground fielding also restricted the scoring. Pleass and Hever made a stubborn ninth wicket stand which delayed the end of Glamorganshire’s disappointing display. Johnson deserved his five wickets. He bowled accurately throughout the innings.
