MINER’S BODY FOUND
From Our Own Reporter GREYMOUTH. May 28. The body of Mr Andrew McTaggart. aged 40. single, a miner, of Waiuta. the driver of the car which was swept down Stoney creek on Friday evening, when the approach to the bridge collapsed. was found yesterdav about two miles from the bridge. The car was found yesterday morning. The accident was seen bv another motorist. Mr H. Hogg, of Reefton. a post and telegraph linesman, who was driving a short distance behind Mr McTaggart’s small car. Mr Hoge saw the approach to the bridge c 'llapse and Mr McTaggart’s car. almost on to the bridge, was turned over bv the force of the water and swept into the stream. Mr McTaggart was employed at Burkes creek colliery, Reefton.
