Dry Work in Bombay Thursday. March 0,- was “a good drying day” in Bombay when all bars in India’s second largest city were closed compulsorily by the order of Bombay’s Congress Government. Hard on the heels of this move came a total ban on all alcholic drinks throughout the entire Bombay province. Droughtstricken residents now have the alternative of irrigating dry throats by other and less stimulating means. In New Zealand however, no such problem exists, and a dry throat is usually the sign of a coming cold, quickly and effectively treated by Baxters Lung Preserver. Baxters is easy to get too. All chemists and stores sell it throughout New Zealand. Baxters Ltd., 602 Colombo St., Chch. —Advt.
