CAR CAPSIZES INTO RIVER

OCCUPANT SWEPT AWAY From Out Oivn Re. orter GREYMOUTH, May 26. Late to-night it was reported from Reefton that a small car that capsized into the Little Grey River at Mawheraiti, on the Greymouth-Reeften main highway. The car is believed to have followed a Fest and Telegraph faultman's truck across the bridge when the approach at the Reefton end subsided. The vehicle is so far unidentified, but it is believed to come from Reefton. The occupant was washed away’ in the flood waters which burst round the end of the bridge.
