N.Z. TEAM TO COMPETE IN SYDNEY

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 36. The official New Zealand rifle team selected by the New Zealand Rifle Association to compete at Sydney in the Ntew South Wales National Rifle Association's meeting early in October, was announced to-night. It is as follows: —H. V. Donaki. H. King, H. K. Smith (Masterton). J. \V. Johnson (Featherston), I. Macdonald (Alfredton), R. N. McVicar (Waipukurau). S. J. Jeune (Gisborne), F. J. Soler (Wanganui). T. S. Pritchard. R. F. Wakefield (Karori), A. R. Tantrum A. F. Paynter (Blenheim), L. Hutchison, J. R. Keoghan (Westport). The commander of the taem will be Major-General W. H. Cunningham (Wellington), and the shooting captain will be Major W. N. Masefield (Marlborough). Except for two or three members who are making their own way to Australia, the team will fly from Paraparaumu on September 25 to Auckland, and from there will go by air to Sydney.
