NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Eoard called for that purpose and held at the Office of the Board in the City of Christchurch on the Twenty-third day of May. 1950, the said Board DID RESOLVE AND DIRECT: THAT in pursuance of the powers vested in it by "The Christchurch District Drainage Act. 1907," "The Rating Act. 1908." and the Several Acts amending ghe same respectively, and of all other powers in that behalf thereunto it enabling THE CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD at a Special Meeting called for that purpose and held at the Office of the said Board in the City of Christchurch on the Twenty-third dav of Mav, 1950, DOTH RESOLVE AND DIRECT:— 1. THAT a general rate of TWENTYNINE ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY EIGHTHS OF A PENNY (29/128d) in the Pound be levied upon the Capital Rateable Value of all the rateable property in the whole of the said Board's Drainage District for the general purpose of land and stormwater drainage. 2. THAT a separate rate of TWENTYONE SIXTY FOURTHS OF A PENNY (21/64d) in the Pound be levied upon the Capital Rateable Value of all the rateable property comprised in the SEWERAGE AREA as defined in the Second Schedule to "The Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1907” and as added to by the Resolutions of the Board bearing date the Sixteenth day of February. 1909. the Fifteenth day of February, 1910, the Fifteenth day of March. ' 1910, the Twentieth day of January. 1914 the Seventeenth day of September, 1918 the Seventeenth day of December. 1918, and the Sixteenth day of September, 1919, for the purpose of providing for the Board's maintenance and other charges in respect of the sewerage in that area.
