Animal Home Busy

.immai iiome r*usy The animal home opened by the Canterbury Society for the Prewntion of Cruelty to Animals last August had amply justified its existence, the secretary (Mr G. T. Bullock) reported last evening to the half-yearly meeting of the society. The accommodation at the home had been more than fully taxed ever since the opening and it had been found necessary to erect additional kennels and extend the cat-house, said Mr Bullock. A contract had been let for the erection of separate blocks of isolation kennels and distemper kennels.
