■ The first and second heats of the No. 16 club race were sailed by the Christchurch Model Yacht Club in a light southwesterly breeze at Victoria Lake on Saturday afternoon. Races were conducted under the supervision of Mr J. Matthews. Results:— First Heat.—Celeste (C. White), smin 40sec, 1; Redwings (B. George), 2min. 2; Empire (J.
