DRINK AT A DANCE HALL

Sir.—lt is disgraceful the amount of liquor that is consulted at the dance halls. You hear people say. "Isn’t it scandalous the youths who are often drunk.’’ I don’t blame the boys. What about the older men? T hey are a very poor example to the younger set. Men and women, too. are in and out all night. Have the people any thought for themselves or their dependants? Just think of a good way to spread diseases, especially T. 8.. sucking out of a bottle one a r ter the other. There is a place for everything. Have it at home in a clean glass.—Yours, etc., WEANED. May 17. 1950.
