UNITED CLUB The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the United Croquet Club:—president, Mrs A. S. Clark; executive officers, Mrs G. W. C. Smithson and Mr J. C. Gibb; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mrs T. B. Grant; delegate to the centre: Mrs Grant; committee, Mcsdames A. Bonar, M. Whitfield. A. Dunn, F. Gurnsey, J. C. Gibb. M. McTeigue. L. Beale, and Mr S. Adkins; green warden, Mr J. Mickelson. Th*e winners of the club events for the season were as follows:—open championship: Mrs J. Palmer; runner-up, Mrs Grant. Women’s championship: Mrs J. McCracken; runner-up, Mrs A. Dunn. Intermediate championship: Mrs B. G. Reynolds; runner-up, Mrs B. Flintoff. Junior championship: Mrs L. Beale; runner-up, S. Adkins. Hettie Smith Memorial Cup: Mrs A. L. Bonar; runner-up, Mrs N. S. Cramond. Dunn Cup (J.B. handicap): Miss D. Richards. A. E. Smith shields (J.B. handicap): doubles, S. Adkins and Mrs I. Archibold. Handicap doubles (Mrs Clark’s prizes): senior, Mrs M. Whitfield and Mrs R. French; junior: Mrs Evans and Mrs W. McCullough. Club handicap singles: Mrs Bonar and J.Mickeison (equal) 1. Dunn trophy: Mrs T. B. Grant; run-ner-up: Mrs A. Dunn. Adkins button. Mrs L. Berie. Brown gold brooches: Mrs Were and Mrs Bonar.
