TRAFFIC OFFENCES Offenders against traffic regulations were dealt with as follows in cases brought by the police:— , „ Riding bicycle without light: Ewen Blackburn, fined 10s; Crenold Stephen Collins, 10s; Trevor McGillivray, 10s; Francis Gordon Quinlivan, 20s; Rex Allen Randle, 20s; Peter William MdPherson, costs. M ’i No warrant of fitness: Donald Aoei Prebble, fined 10s. Driving without due care and attention : Patrick Dennis O’Connell, fined *3, Edward George South. £2. .&■ Parking in prohibited area: Luscomoe Ellis Robinson, fined 10s. Failing to give way to tram-car: William James Wild, fined 30s. Driving in dangerous manner: Roy Wilson. fined £5. CHARGE DISMISSED A charge of driving without due care and attention against Roger Stringer (Mr E. B. E. Taylor), who pleaded not guilty, was dismissed. The Magistrate said that the evidence given in defence was a more reasonable account of what happened than that of the prosecution.
