Premises Entered at KaiapoL—The premises of three Kaiapoi firms were broken into between 6 n.m. and 11 n.m on Thursday. Mr James Gordon’s hardware store. Mr F. Lvnskey’s coal and wood depot, and Mr C. Alexander's cordial factory were entered. Only small sums of money were taken. Pensioners’ Association.—A devotional service, conducted by the Rev. A. Willmot, of the Trinity Congregational Church, Worcester street, was held at the weekly meeting of the Christchurch branch of the Pensioners’ Association this week. There was an attendance of about 259 members.
