The Christchurch Competitions Society’s festival was concluded yesterday. At the first of the three demonstration concerts last evening the following cups were presented:— Scrimshaw Cup, vocal: Dawn Robinson. Juanita Christian Cup.' operatic idance, under eight: Sylvia Hilton. Valda Rouse Cup, tap dance: John McDonald. Cottier Cup, piano: Averil Higginbotham.
