The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed two heats of the club handicap on Victoria Lake in a medium north-easterly wind during the week-end.
First Heat.—Empire (J. Spencer). 2min lOsec, 31min Msec, 1; Lark (F. Grey), smin lOsec, 35min 36sec, 2; Nark (W. Schenkel). 3rnin 20sec, 34min 48sec, 3; Magic (W. Evans), 4min 20sec, 39min 44sec, 4; Robin (F. W. Grey), 40sec, 35min 32sec, 5.
Second Heat.—Empire. 27min 44sec, 1; Robin, 27min 46sec. 2; Nark, 31min 23sec. 3; Phyllis II (V. Thomas), scr, 29min 29sec, 4; Amy (W .Turner), Bmin lOsec, 38min Ssec. 5.
Points gained were:—Empire 16, Nark and Robin 6, Lark 5. Magic and Phyllis II 2.
The twenty-second heat of the Points Trophy Race was sailed in a light easterly wind. Results:—Red Wings (B. George), 49min 39sec. 1: Nark (W. Schenkel), Strain 30sec, 2; Magic (W. Evans). 53min. 3; Robin F. W. Grey), 56min 30sec, 4; Mabs (C. Cooper), 58min, 5.
