CANTERBURY COLLEGE CHORAL SOCIETY
A decision to appoint a chorus master in addition to the conductor and to hold sectional practices was made at the annual meeting of the Canterbury University College Choral Society this week. The following officers were elected: patron. Sir James Hight; president, Dr. Vernon Griffiths; vice-presidents. Miss C. Neale, Dr. H. D. Broadhead, and Messrs G. F. Alley, C. Foster Browns, A. Lush and J. A. Ritchie; conductor. Mr Clifton Cook; chorus master, Mr D. Sell: secretary. Miss S. Beamish: treasurer. Mr W. Polson; librarian. Miss C. Crawford; committee. Miss J. Sandford and Messrs E. Dodge and K. Hayhurst
