OFFICERS PLAY SERGEANTS AT WIGRAM

The annual cricket match between officers and sergeants, played at the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Wigram, yesterday, resulted in a draw. Scores were as follows: Officers, 225 for eight wickets dedared (FHght Lieutenant Rayner 52, Lieutenant Joel 61 retired, Flying Officer Dalzell 50; Flight Sergeant Dimmock three for 71, Warrant Officer Hardwick two for 5). Seregants, 109 for eight wickets (Warrant Officer Dunn 19. Warrant Officer Hardwick 36; Squadron Leader Harding two for 18, Flight Lieutenant Mitchell two for 11, Flight Lieutenant Lunn one for 1).

Last year the match was won by the ergeants.
