Sir, —Motor-cyclists should approach the authorities to have the front num-ber-plate along the mudguard instead of across it, where it gets bent, buckled, and broken, besides being almost impossible to keep tight. Notice should also be taken of the size of rear plate-holders on the modern cycle. My plate overlaps each end.— Yours, etc.. TURN ’EM. March 6, 1950.
