SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS

Sir, —The letter from “Privacy” could well be signed “False Pride.” One can easily read that “Privacy” and several others have never suffered any disability which necessitated the ap-i pointment of an agent. One does not always like to burden others with queing up and being questioned each month with “Is this person still resident in Christchurch?” Hoping the National Government will rectify this matter, as it has already done-with other red tape that, has been presen' over the last 14 years.—Yours, etc.. DISABLED. March. 8, 1950.
