SPEEDWAY MANAGEMENT
Sir,—l would suggest to “R.H.” that if he does not like this pleasant little opiate for social distraction, the speedway, that he stay away. If the performers are mugs enough to be exploited by the management they only deserve remuneration commensurate with their own internal organisation. Anyway, is it a “sport” or just- a cheap thrill for a distracted rabble?—Yours, etc.. A. E. E. IVORY. March 9, 1950.
