(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. February 8. Australia won the men’s epee teams’ contest to-day. New Zealand was soundly defeated by Canada in the first round and lost the second round to England by three to six, but it held the successful Australian team to a close decision, five to four, in the third round.
