NEW ZEALANDERS WIN THREE MORE EVENTS
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 7. Australia is still leading in the number of victories in the Empire Games and England to-day went into second place. Three wins in the athletics and two in the fencing championships brought England’s total wins to seven. Australia went to la with three wrestling wins and another athletic win. New Zealand won two wrestling titles and won the heavyweight weight-lifting championship. Placings gained by the competing countries in the finals so far are:—
Australia has obtained 32 placings, New Zealand 26. and England 20.
