VISIT TO LONDON NEXT MONTH

(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, February 7. Details of the official visit to London of the President of France (Mr Vincent’Auriol) and his wife from'March 7 to March 10 have been announced by the Lord Chamberlain. The official party will cross the Channel in the French aircraft carried Arromanches, and will be met at Victoria Station, London, by Their Majesties the King and Queen. Mr and Mrs Auriol will drive in state to Buckingham Palace, where they will stay until their return to Paris. There will be a State banquet at the palace, a dinner party for the King and Queen at the French Embassy, a ballet performance at Covent Garden, and a Government luncheon at the Royal Naval College, Greenwich. The Sadler’s Wells Ballet will present a special performance for the President and Mrs Auriol on March 9 at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
