CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather in Christchurch yesterday was fine and warm, with a moderate north-west wind in the morning. At midnight the sky was almost clear and there was a fresh southwest wind. The temperature was 48.7 degrees. The barometer, at 29.590 inches (1002.0 millibars), was rising rapidly.
