MODEL YACHTING

The concluding heats of the challenge trophy race were sailed on Saturday by the Christchurch Model Yacht Club at Victoria Lake in a medium north-east wind. The club commodore, Mr J. Second Heat.—Moana, 27min 37sec, 1; Nark, 30min 59sec, 2; Mabs (S. Cooper) 2min 20sec, 30min Msec. 3: Magic (W Evans), 3min 50sec, 34min 2sec, 4; Rebin (F. W. Grey), lmin 40sec. 32min 59sec, 5. Points gained were:—Moana, 21 points 1; White wings, 16 points. 2; Valkyrie and Nark, 12 (equal) 3; Phyllis 11, 7 points, 5.
