SAFE CONTAINING £900 STOLEN

(New Zealand Press

AUCKLAND, January 31. Thieves last night stole a sate containing about £9OO, mostly in cash, from the offices of Shorters Rental Cars, Ltd., in Shortland street. Mr Jack Shorter discovered the theft this morning. There was nothing to indicate that the premises had been forcibly entered, and it is believed a strip of celluloid was used to spring one of the front door locks.
