Later this year the Harvard Law School, United States, will admit qualified women students. The step was requested by the school faculty and aporoved by the governing boards. Standards of admission will be the same as for men. with graduation from an accredited college as a prerequisite. As a result of this action, all branches of.higher scholarship are now open to women at Harvard. The Harvard Medical School conferred its M.D. on a woman for the first time last June.
