Two heats of the Christchurch Model Yacht Club’s 11th handicap race were sailed at Victoria Lake on Saturday in a medium north-east wind, under the supervision of the club commodore. Results were as follows: Ist heat, Redwings (B. George), 4mm lOsec, 29min, 1; Lark (F. ,9 rey 2i lOsec, 34min 48sec, 2; Phyllis II (V. Thomas), scr, 30min 18sec, 3; Bonita (W. Evans), 4min, 37min 28sec, 4; Robin (F. W. Grey), 40sec, 34min 14sec, 5. 2nd heat—Redwings, 30min 34sec, 1; Lark, 32min 44sec, 2; Valkyrie (A. Trethewey), Imin lOsec, 29min 58sec, 3; Phyllis 11, 29min lOsec, 4; Bonita, 33min 19sec, Points gained were: Redwing 16 points, 1; Lark 10 points, 2; Phyllis 11, 5 points, 3; Valkyrie and Bonita, 3 points (equal), 4 ’The 16th heat of the Points Trophy Race, sailed in a light north-easterly wind, resulted as follows: Redwings, 4min, 47min 44sec, 1; Robin, scr, 50min Bsec, 2; Magic, 4min 20sec, 62min 16sec, 3; Mabs, lmin 20sec, 60min 16sec, 4.
