DOLLAR AID TO JUGOSLAVIA
AMERICA. ASKED FOR SECOND LOAN (Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 21. Jugoslavia had appealed to the United States for a second loan to counteract the effects of the Russianled economic blockade, said diplomatic officials tb-day. Last September, the United States granted Marshal Tito’s Government a loan of 25,000,000 dollars.
The second Jugoslav approach was for about 5,000,000 dollars to buy raw materials for Jugoslav textile mills and other industries, said the officials.
